The idea
Gonzo arrived in Australia after travelling the globe with his bike, conquering trails in the Americas like Chile and Canada (Whistler and BC), Europe and now Oceania. On 6 August 2024, one year later, Cyclorepair was born in Surfers Paradise.

99 Bikes
Gonzo started at 99 Bikes, his first job in Australia, and saw firsthand how professional bike shops operate. Combined with his engineering background, he realised he could deliver the same high-quality service independently. That experience directly inspired Cyclorepair.

Cyclorepair
The website launched and bike servicing grew steadily as word spread. After four months, customer calls increased significantly. A pivotal moment came when BYKKO engaged our services, validating our quality and professionalism.

Small triumphs
We ran bike-centric team-building events for Griffith University students, and our first major e-bike order arrived: eight units that sold out instantly. Riders loved the reliable repairs and upgrades, and brands like BYKKO, T100 and Trek Bikes trusted us with their bikes.

Cyclorepair becomes Cyclo Shop. We now focus on one thing: competitively priced e-bikes, available to order, so more people can ride.
